"Our open days are free to attend and run across our two campuses, Stag Hill and Manor Park, in Guildford.


You will need to book your place to attend, but are welcome to bring all the family and friends you want on the day. (Note that only one person can join you for your booked subject talk/session).


We have lots on offer during our open days:

  • Attend a subject talk and tour: Hear all about our courses, speak to our academics and explore our facilities.

  • Visit our accommodation: We will have accommodation rooms available for you to look around on the day.

  • Go to our student services information fair: Drop in throughout the day and discover the services that we offer our students.

  • Attend our general talks: Find out more about funding, applying, student support and lots more.

  • Take a campus tour: Join our student ambassadors on a tour of campus and see why our students fall in love with Surrey.

  • Discover our Sports Park: Take a look around our Surrey Sports Park which includes an Olympic sized pool, climbing walls, newly upgraded gym and sports courts including brand new padel courts.

  • Talk to our students: Our student ambassadors will be more than happy to answer all of your questions.

  • Explore the local area: Our Stag Hill campus is a 10-minute walk from Guildford town centre."

Check train or parking options early, and always check the university's website for travel bursaries. Many UK universities offer £20 to £100+ to help cover travel expenses for eligible prospective students.

3. Talk to Current Students (Not Just Lecturers)
Lecturers will give you the academic pitch, but student ambassadors will give you the unfiltered reality. Ask them the questions that aren't in the prospectus: What’s the accommodation really like? How is the local nightlife? Is public transport easy? What do you wish you knew before picking this uni?
