
History of Art A-Level
Studying History of Art A-Level allows you to study visual art in the forms of paintings, architecture and sculpture, as well as exploring
them across different periods of society and cultures.
You will learn how to perform a visual analysis of paintings, sculptures and architecture from Classical Greece to the present. You will also look at themes in art and architecture which might include: Nature, Identities, War. Here, you will look at works by specified artists/architects. The final component allows you to explore specific Periods such as the Renaissance, Avant-Garde and Baroque periods.
