
Psychology A-Level
Psychology is the study of the human mind and human behaviour, why do people do the things they do?
How does the mind work and how does it affect behaviour. The Psychology A-Level allows students to learn about key areas and perspectives in psychology, methodological and ethical issues, as well as debates in psychology.
Students will explore core approaches and methods of Psychology with cognitive, social, biological, developmental, individual differences will be looked at. Students will also explore in more detail elements of applied psychology. Students will also learn how to plan, conduct and analyse research and look at methods including: self-reporting, experimenting, observations and correlations.
Format
Independent reading and essay-based subject.
