
Art & Design (Graphic Design/Communication) A-Levels
Graphic Design is the communication of information and ideas visually, incorporating the use of elements such as text,
colours, images, and layouts. The Art & Design (Graphic Design) A-Level is a practical, coursework based qualification which will allow you to develop your skills in a range of graphic communication media, processes and techniques. Students will gain substantial graphic design technical and presentation skill.
Students may use traditional methods such as drawing and printing as well as modern digital techniques.
Students will have the opportunity to explore a number of areas of photography such as: advertising, branding, communication graphics, design for film and television, design for print, illustration, interactive media (including web, app and game design), motion graphics, multimedia, packaging design, signage, and typography.
Format: Independent reading, engaging with photography, photographic production.

Exploration of visual language, convey and interpret images, creativity, imagination, visual communication.
