At Degree Decisions, we create content and tools to help students make smarter choices about university courses and career paths. We're looking for curious, reliable Student Researchers to help us dig deeper into the student experience — and bring those insights to life in our videos, articles, and guides.

We’re looking for a creative, data-savvy Social Media & Marketing Executive to help grow our audience, build our online presence, and deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with students.

Role Overview

You’ll take the lead on our social media strategy and day-to-day content, while supporting broader digital marketing efforts including email campaigns, partnerships, and student outreach. This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, knows what makes students tick, and can translate ideas into thumb-stopping content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow our social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)

  • Plan and execute weekly content calendars and campaigns

  • Create and edit social content — from graphics and videos to carousels and captions

  • Work closely with the content and admissions teams to promote student stories, guides, and tools

  • Track performance, analyse metrics, and optimise for engagement and reach

  • Coordinate email campaigns and student newsletter content

  • Support influencer/student ambassador collaborations and outreach

  • Contribute creative ideas for brand growth and campaign development

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in a social media or marketing role

  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills

  • Strong understanding of social platforms and student engagement trends

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro)

  • Comfortable using analytics tools (Instagram Insights, Google Analytics, etc.)

  • Proactive, organised, and full of creative ideas

  • Passionate about education, student life, or digital storytelling

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in influencer marketing or student ambassador programs

  • Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, or paid social campaigns

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Mailchimp, HubSpot)
