Degree Decisions is a comprehensive educational and career platform dedicated to helping students and young professionals in the UK navigate the transition from secondary education to the workforce. By bridging the gap between academic study and professional employment, the organization serves as a central hub for exploring diverse pathways, including traditional university degrees, apprenticeships, and vocational training. The platform provides a suite of interactive tools and resources designed to personalise the decision-making process. Key features include a Career Quiz that matches users' personality traits and skills with suitable career paths, a specialised Job Board featuring internships and graduate roles, and an extensive database of University Open Days.
About the role
What is Degree Decisions?
We're a careers and education platform helping teenagers across the UK figure out their next steps, whether that's A-Levels, BTECs, university, or apprenticeships.
What you'll be doing
You'll help us grow our social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. That means creating short-form content, writing captions, responding to comments, and helping us reach more students who need guidance.
You'll be a good fit if you:
Are studying or recently finished school/college
Spend a lot of time on social media and have opinions about what works
Have some interest in education, careers, or helping other young people
Are comfortable writing in a friendly, conversational tone
What you'll get
Real experience running social media for a live website
Content for your portfolio
A reference for future jobs or university applications
Flexible hours that work around your studies
How to apply
Send us a short message telling us why you're interested and which social media platform you think we should be using more, and why. We don't expect you to have a full CV at this stage, but a bit about yourself, what you've studied and any jobs (if any) you have had in the past.
