
Art & Design (Fine Art) A Level/AS Level
This A-Level in Art & Design (Fine Art) introduces students to a range of specialist fine art media, processes and techniques.
Students will have the opportunity to discover themselves as artists and develop their own sense of style.
Students will have the opportunity to explore a number of areas of fine art such as: abstraction, ceramics, human form, installation, landscape, experimental imagery, narrative, portraiture, printmaking, moving image and photography, sculpture, working in genre.
Format
Independent reading, specialist practical study of painting, printmaking or sculpture.
Key Skills Acquired
Exploration of visual language, convey and interpret images, creativity, imagination, visual communication.
