Art & Design (Photography) A Level/AS Level

The Art & Design (Photography) A-Level is a practical, coursework based qualification which will allow you to develop your skills 

in a range of photographic media, techniques and processes. Students will gain substantial photography technical and presentation skills. Students can learn about traditional darkroom technology as well as modern digital techniques. 

Students will have the opportunity to explore a number of areas of photography such as: portraiture; still life photography landscape photography; fashion photography; photojournalism; experimental imagery; photography installation; multimedia; moving images.

Independent reading, engaging with photography, photographic production. 

Key Skills Acquired

Exploration of visual language, convey and interpret images, creativity, imagination, visual communication.
