Further Mathematics A-Level

Further Mathematics A-Level is a rigorous and robust mathematics qualification which is taken in conjunction with

or after taking Mathematics A-Level. The content of the examinations paper builds on the learnings of Mathematics A-Level with further exploration of topics such as: proof, complex numbers, matrices,  polar coordinates, hyperbolic functions, further algebra and functions, further calculus, further vectors and differential equations. 



Key Skills Acquired

Advanced mathematical knowledge and skills, logic, proof and mathematical modelling, mathematical problem solving, mathematical reasoning, reading and comprehending mathematical arguments, construct mathematical diagrams. 

 

Prerequisites

Higher level Maths at GCSE (or equivalent) is required with the additional study of Mathematics A-Level
