Accounting A-Level

The Accounting A-Level gives students a career-focused qualification that builds skills that can be directly applied to the workplace.

Students will gain an understanding of accounting systems and how they are used for monitoring and managing decision-making in business. Content includes financial accounting systems & costings and corporate & management accounting. Students will learn a range of practical accounting techniques including to perform double entry bookkeeping, prepare financial statements for companies and costing for decision making.

Prerequisites 

It is recommended that students have completed a mathematics course at GCSE level or equivalent.
