Studying German A-Level allows you not only to build on your German linguistic skills but also develops your understanding of society and culture in German speaking countries.
The language element of the course builds on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking of the German language. Integrated with the language element, the course explores German-speaking societies, cultures, history and politics. Students will also study typically two books or one book and one film from a set list of German texts and films.

German at GCSE (or equivalent)

Typical Assessment
