What Is an Adult Nursing Degree?
Adult Nursing focuses on caring for patients aged 18 and above in hospitals, GP surgeries, and community settings. You’ll learn how to assess, plan, and deliver care for people with a wide range of health conditions, from minor illnesses to long-term or critical care needs.

BSc (Bachelor of Science) or BN (Bachelor of Nursing) — both are professional degrees leading to registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Acute & Chronic Care – delivering safe, evidence-based care across hospitals and community settings.
Medication Management – administering drugs safely and understanding pharmacology principles.
Patient Communication – supporting patients and families with clear, compassionate communication.
Team-based Care – collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
A-levels or equivalent including at least one Science (Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, or Sociology preferred). Some universities accept a broad range of subjects.
